Utica Park Clinic Welcomes Laurie Flynn, MD

Tulsa, OK– Utica Park Clinic and the Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center at Hillcrest welcome Laurie Flynn, MD, FACS, a physician specializing in breast surgery. She will begin seeing patients on Friday, July 1, 2011. In addition to seeing patients in her office, Dr. Flynn will also serve as the Surgical Director of the Leta M. Chapman Breast Center at the Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center at Hillcrest.

Dr. Flynn has been performing breast surgery since 2006. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi in 1995 and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2000. Dr. Flynn completed her general surgery internship and residency at Baptist Health System of Alabama in 2001 and 2005, respectively.  She completed her fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Department of Surgery for Breast Service in New York in 2006. Dr. Flynn is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. 

Dr. Flynn previously served as the Medical Director of St. John Breast Center and as a Cancer Liaison physician of St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.  Her professional memberships include those with the American Society of Breast Surgeons, American Society of Breast Disease, and the Tulsa County Medical Society.  Dr. Flynn is a candidate member of the Society of Surgical Oncology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Flynn’s Utica Park Clinic office is located on the campus of Hillcrest Medical Center, in Tulsa. Appointments can be set by calling 918-579-3840 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
